District Assembly 2025
What it is:
The annual gathering of the East Tennessee Church of the Nazarene district churches. This multi-day event brings pastors, laity, ministry leaders, and guests together for spiritual enrichment, fellowship, leadership development, and denominational business.
When & Where:
– July 15 through July 17, 2025
– Hosted on the campus of Lee University in Cleveland, TN, a central and familiar venue for the district.
Who attends:
– All district pastors and certified lay delegates
– Department leaders (like Children’s, Youth, and NDI)
– Elders, local church members, and guests from across East Tennessee
Program Highlights:
• Worship & Prayer Services — Uplifting and spirit-led gatherings to start each day
• Bible Teaching & Retreats — In-depth preaching and devotional times centered on a unifying theme
• Ministry Breakouts — Focused sessions for Children’s Ministry, Youth, Missions, Church Development, and more
• Credentials & District Business — Reports from the Treasurer, NDI, and committee elections or updates
• Fellowship Events — Opportunities for pastors, spouses, and local church teams to connect and encourage one another
Why it matters:
District Assembly serves as the spiritual and organizational heartbeat of our East Tennessee district. It’s a time to celebrate God’s work, align on ministry direction, empower leaders, and foster unity in our shared mission.
